Simon has spent over thirty years dedicated to the manufacturing and processing industries in Queensland. With a passion for innovation and new product development Simons primary industry of geosynthetics came together with the incorporation of the unique mineral clay bentonite during the early 1990's, for the development of geosynthetic clay liners (GCL's) for environmental engineering. Having been responsible for establishing Australia's first non woven geotextile manufacturing facility in the early 1980's, and then the GCL production line in 1995, Simon continues to pursue his passion for supplying engineered solutions. Having held a number of senior management positions throughout his career, Simon enjoys the challenge of working with a diverse range of clients and industries, such as Bentonite Resources.
